I recently discovered this recipe for Golden Milk and have found it so helpful on days when I need a little something extra to feel grounded. In Ayurveda, Golden Milk is suggested to reduce “vata” or the moving energy that can make us feel anxious or fearful or unsettled.
2 TBSP raw cashews
2 medjool dates, pitted
1/8 tsp ground cinnamon
1/8 tsp ground turmeric
1 cup almost boiling water
1 tsp coconut butter
Place all ingredients in a blender and blend on high speed until smooth. Serve warm.
