Restorative Yoga Nidra: Private or Group Sessions ~ Weekday sessions availableYoga Nidra, sometimes known as yogic sleep, is a deeply restful, transformative process. You will be lying down, fully supported with props and blankets, and will be guided through a process that touches into all layers: body, breath, thoughts, emotions, and heart wisdom. Before we meet, you are welcome to let me know imagery that you find especially soothing (walking the beach, gardening, particular colours…) so that I can tailor the practice for you. It may also be helpful to consider an intention (relaxation, letting go, strengthening…) that can inform our time together. The session will be recorded so that you can revisit and deepen the practice at home.
$100 (includes HST)/ 60 minutes
Private weekday sessions available in-person or via Zoom. Please reach out for availability.
Bedtime Yoga: Nervous System Reset ~ 3 Tuesdays this winter on ZoomThis winter, please join me for a monthly 75 minute class designed to offer you an opportunity to experience deep relaxation in preparation for sleep.
As always, each class will be gentle and relaxing, appropriate for an evening practice. During each evening we spend together, we will move through a soothing sequence to release tension, learn a breathing practice to calm the mind, settle back into a guided body scan and enjoy a music meditation to connect to the heart. A link will be available for 2 weeks after each class so that you can return to the practice whenever you need it.

Introduction to Mindfulness MeditationJoin me for a 8 week Mindfulness Meditation Class designed to offer participants a gentle introduction (or re-introduction) to meditation.
Meditation is a beautiful practice to help manage stress, to bring clarity to our circumstances, to shed light on our patterns and habits, and to open our heart.
Over the course of 8 weeks, participants will explore a variety of tools and techniques centred around the foundations of mindfulness: body, thoughts, emotions, personal circumstances as well as the heart practices: loving kindness, compassion, equanimity and joy. Each week a suggested home practice will be recorded so that group members may explore a personal practice between sessions.
Mondays: January 23rd – March 6th ~ PLEASE NOTE THIS SESSION IS FULL. REACH OUT IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO BE ON A WAITLIST FOR THE NEXT SERIES.
Classes are held on Zoom
$120 (includes HST) / 6 week session
Dana’s Restorative/Yin class is a still point in the chaos that has become my life. It is an oasis I can look forward to, a place where I can drop all the weight of the world that I carry and simply drift into the pleasures and challenges of Yoga as she presents it. A warm smile at the door. Carefully chosen music. Calming lighting. Dana’s loving, soothing presence. All of these things welcome me in and assure me that here, I am safe. Here, I can let go. Here, I can heal.~ Tabitha
Dana’s restorative yoga classes have been an instrumental tool for my struggle with some major lifestyle changes. I was looking for a healthy way of dealing with everyday stress, and what I found was an hour and a half of complete mental and bodily relaxation. Dana’s welcoming and compassionate approach to teaching a newcomer to yoga has bolstered my confidence to use the techniques at home, and I have found in myself a much calmer and balanced individual.
